I have been in the childcare field for approximately eight years and absolutely love it! I began in the field by helping out in a small family daycare that I attended as a child. From there, I worked as both a nanny and gained extensive experience in different centres around the island including , infant/toddler, preschool ages, school age care, Montessori, and centres for children with diverse abilities.

I received my Educator Assistant status while attending Vancouver Island University for my ECE, IT, SNE diploma. I have worked my way up from assistant, to management positions, and now as owner and operator.

I have worked on and off at the Thinking Garden since my first practicum placement here in 2018. I was so excited to begin my journey as owner and operator in 2021, and I plan to continue providing inspiring, creative, warm, and loving care to children around the Island.

You can find me working on the floor with staff and children; part time with our Nanoose Bay team and part time with our Qualicum Beach team!

“I’ve had three children attend the Thinking Garden. They sincerely care for my kids, provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for them to grow and make meaningful connections with friends. They spend a lot of time outside exploring nature, playing in the park and at the beach. My kids always run down the path to greet their teachers and friends with a smile on their face.”
